FREELINE BLUES BAND
The "Freeline Blues Band is a band from Rome, recently established born the initiative of Claudio Dioguardi Maimone and Mauritius, which, in addition to be - respectively - bassist and guitarist, are also producers.

The musical project, behind the initiative, is a kind of "back to rooots" the blues, inspired, mainly, to the songs of Robert Johnson, Muddy Waters, Willie Dixon, Elmore James, Benoit, proposed again with a re-reading but not in a philological updated, taking into account first of all the different and diverse musical experiences of the band members as well as stylistic changes that during its hundred year history of the blues himself has had. 1) Claudio Maimone (bass)
- started playing the electric bass at age fifteen. Over 70 years
2) MAURIZIO DioGuardi (Guitar)
- began playing guitar at the age of ten years (in 1969 ....), Eating "Beatles" and "Rolling Stones ", and, gradually, as a teenager, is formed at the court of Ritchie Blackmore, Jimmy Page and Eric Clapton. In 1976, as the apostle Paul, remains "struck on the road to Damascus" after listening to a jazz guitar great Joe Pass. In 1977, he enrolled in music school "Saint Louis" (now "Saint Louis Music School), in Rome, and starts to study jazz under the guidance of a young Eddy Palermo, at the time stated Italian jazz guitarist (which will establish a friendship with thirty years). From 1977 to 1979, attending the big family of "Saint Louis", comes into contact with the best jazz musicians in the Rome area (some students in the same course, as the guitarist Fabio Mariani) as Enrico Pierannunzi, Danilo Rea, Roberto Gatto, Michael and Gianpaolo Ascolese, Richard Bise, Francesco Puglisi, Massimo Morriconi, Umberto Fiorentino, and many others, by participating, even as a student, the birth of a true "musical movement Roman", whose centers were represented thrusters from the "Saint Louis" and "People's School of Music of Testaccio. In the two years at the "Saint Louis", in addition to learning the fundamentals of jazz guitar and improvisation technique, he studied harmony with Amedeo Tommasi.
- In 1980 he debuted as a professional and established, together with a (then) young American drummer, John Arnold, a music group "Fusion," which had, as a prominent soloist, Tony Formichella on sax content. In 1981 he began an intense session-man, both live and studio, which led him to collaborate with many artists Italian pop music, until 1987 (Aldo Donati and Schola Cantorum, Bruno Martino, Pupo, Russell & Russell, Tiziana Rival, Dee Dee Jackson, Bobby Solo, Roberta Voltolini, Harmonium etc ...). addition to his session-man, plays in those years, an intense concert in jazz and fusion, participating now as "freelance" now as a member of established groups, including one on all , the "Stereo Group", with Peppe Giampietro on drums, Alfredo Giampietro Gianfranco Gullotto floor and the electric bass. From 1984 to 1987 and carries out educational activities plays the role of the teacher "Saint Louis". During this time he took part in the Master Class with Jim Hall and Joe Pass.

3) Mimmo Antonini (drums)

He was a member in the past of "All Blues Band", founded by Maurice and Claudio Dioguardi Maimone. He has a sustained activity as a teacher.

Of all stands to Liu Xiaobo, a famous human rights activist who, like the promoters of the Charter 77, was arrested (and was not the only one), but this time with an amazing sense of timing. Two days before the sixtieth anniversary of the Declaration of human rights activist was taken by police and locked in a secret location on charges of "subversive conspiracy against State security ". But what to call these Chinese citizens and their governments to justify such a negative reaction to this initiative?

The wealth accumulated not only remains in state coffers without being distributed, but the government's own admission, is undergoing heavy layoffs because of the global crisis has also affected the Chinese economy is untouchable and has already led to the dismissal of more than ten million workers. The middle class, the educated, the one with the computer and the one which was based on the consensus of the social compact that gives confidence to the Chinese one-party, began to doubt and wonder whether it is better to react.
